Two Tomatoes

My favorite view is from my kitchen window at the Jersey shore. There’s a bay and my yard with grass I cut myself, some flowers and my tomatoes.

There are plenty of places to eat in town, but give me a lunchmeat sandwich in my own kitchen with two slices of a tomato I grew myself and I’m happy. I’ve got one routine. Saturday mornings. I head out at six for the first batch of sticky buns. The roads are quiet and there’s nothing to see except the sky and sometimes a bird. If I go out, I just want my favorite: a crab cake and a salad with two little tomatoes. It’s always the same thing but I really like it. Nothing beat summer tomatoes.
